Overcoming the above requirements, Le Thi Huyen Trang - K12 Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University has become one of the 98 excellent valedictorians chosen by Hanoi City to honor.

4 years of "snatching" a 50% tuition scholarship

Huyen Trang could not hide her happiness when she became the excellent valedictorian of Dai Nam University, chosen by Hanoi City to be honored: “I used to admire the seniors who were honored and I dreamed that one day my name would be on that list. There is no way to describe the feeling. All my efforts have come true. I just want to run home as fast as possible to hug my parents to show off my first success in life…”

Le Thi Huyen Trang is one of 98 excellent valedictorians selected by Hanoi City to be honored in 2022.

With her tireless efforts over 4 years, Huyen Trang graduated with an excellent score of 9.32/10; her thesis results with 2 major subjects, Professional Competency Assessment Skills and Professional Competency Practice Skills, both achieved 9.5 points; she won 7/8 scholarship periods and received a 50% tuition scholarship from the second semester of the first year until the end of the program.

In addition, Huyen Trang also won 3 second prizes in scientific research, participated and won awards in competitions: Dai Nam in me, English Olympic, Dai Nam Wisdom; excellent Youth Union Secretary for 4 consecutive years, actively participated in the school's movement activities and was introduced to the Party right in the classroom.

Huyen Trang said that she was destined to study at the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University because of her passion for “traveling” and her desire to cure her fear of motion sickness. “When I started studying, I realized that the tourism industry is very interesting, very meticulous, creative and creates many convenient services for customers. That is what motivated me to study and promoted my dream – to become a dedicated service worker…” , Trang said.

Right from her first year of university, Huyen Trang was given the opportunity by the Faculty and the School to do an early internship and receive a salary according to the effort she put in. During the internship, Huyen Trang had the opportunity to meet and make friends with many talented people in the field of Tourism; thereby learning and accumulating more experience for herself.

In particular, doing an internship early helps female students have the most realistic view of their major, and not feel overwhelmed after graduation.

Have an empty glass attitude towards work

To "reap" many achievements in studying, Huyen Trang has applied 3 criteria: Meticulous, careful; Not afraid of difficulties; Studying with a receptive attitude.

Accordingly, in her studies, Huyen Trang always concentrates and does her work carefully and responsibly, not ignoring any small details to avoid mistakes later. When encountering difficult exercises, the female student always tries to find a way to solve them or asks for help from teachers and friends, but never gives up.

Huyen Trang wants to portray the image of a strong girl, financially independent, able to take care of herself and her parents.

In particular, Huyen Trang always studies with an open-minded attitude, always listening even if it is knowledge she already knows. "If I were a glass full of water, surely no one would want to "pour" more experience and knowledge into me," the female student said.

In addition to studying, Huyen Trang also actively participates in extracurricular activities and competitions of the school. For the young girl, these are valuable opportunities to open up a new world, meet and get to know new people and contribute part of her strength to help those who are less fortunate.

Dream of opening a restaurant before 30

Her dream is to open her own restaurant before she turns 30. Currently, Huyen Trang wants to start working as a receptionist at a 4-star hotel.

This female student's philosophy of life is: "There are two ways to live your life. First, live as if nothing in this world is a miracle. Second, live as if everything is a miracle." Therefore, Huyen Trang is not afraid to face difficulties and challenges.

In a message to the juniors, Huyen Trang shared: “Be active and dedicate yourself, don’t be afraid to participate in any activity, because that is the environment for us to experience without spending any money. Every effort we put in will definitely be rewarded with worthy results.”

For Huyen Trang, 4 years of university are a beautiful youth, because there are teachers, friends, knowledge and experiences, good lessons about life.
