Vision
The Chinese language major with highly applicable training programs is implemented in two directions: Translation and interpretation; Chinese for business and tourism. By combining theoretical knowledge teaching of Chinese language and culture and soft skills training, the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture aims to become a leading unit in training high-quality Chinese human resources, meeting the country's human resource needs.
Mission

3. Degree value
After graduation, students will be awarded a Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language by Dai Nam University according to the diploma template of the Ministry of Education and Training.
4. Training time
Starting from the 2023-2024 academic year, the Department of Chinese Language and Culture will organize training courses in 3 semesters/year, shortening the training period to only 3.5 years. The shorter study period helps students graduate early, save costs, and have more job opportunities.
5. Special features of the training program
The Chinese Language training program is built on the basis of the framework program issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and the regulations and guidelines of Dai Nam University, and at the same time refers to the training programs of prestigious universities at home and abroad. With the orientation of application and international integration, the Chinese Language major is divided into 2 majors: Translation and Interpretation and Commercial Chinese - Tourism.
In terms of knowledge, students are fully equipped with basic knowledge of the Chinese language such as phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, Chinese characters... as well as knowledge of Chinese culture and society. Students are trained in-depth knowledge to be able to apply Chinese in the fields of translation, commerce, and tourism.
In terms of skills, students are fully trained in Chinese language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation to meet job requirements. In addition, students are also trained in critical thinking, communication skills in a multicultural environment, independent work skills and teamwork skills... These skills will help students develop comprehensively and keep up with the high demands of the labor market.
Graduates with a bachelor's degree in Chinese Language from Dai Nam University can take on the following jobs:
- Translation and interpretation: Professional translation and interpretation for translation companies, businesses, media agencies, publishing houses, foreign affairs agencies...

- Graduated from Chinese Language Department, Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, University of Languages and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2010.
- Graduated with a Master's degree in International Chinese Language Teaching from Southwest University (China) in 2012.
- Graduated with a PhD in International Chinese Language Teaching from Shanghai Foreign Studies University (China) in 2018.

Currently, the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture has 4 specialized groups: Chinese Language Practice 1; Chinese Language Practice 2; Translation; Theory of Chinese language, culture and literature.

The faculty of the Faculty includes 01 Professor, 04 Associate Professors, 07 Doctors and 32 Masters graduated in Chinese Language and Chinese Language Teaching at home and abroad. 8. Where do students practice and intern?
Students majoring in Chinese Language are interned for at least 2 months at large companies and corporations in many different fields. In recent years, the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture has connected hundreds of students to intern at Hoa Loi Dat Garment Company Limited, Best Pacific Vietnam Company Limited, Jinko Solar Vietnam Industrial Company Limited, Risuntek Vietnam Company Limited, Mansa Vietnam Construction and Trading Company Limited... and many Chinese language training institutions, news agencies, media, press, tourism... in Vietnam. In addition, from the 2024-2025 school year, the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture will implement a number of programs for students to have the opportunity to intern at internship units abroad.
9. Scholarship Policy
In the 2024-2025 school year, Dai Nam University (school code DDN) has set aside a scholarship fund of 55 billion VND for new students of K18. The expanded scholarship policy with 07 new scholarship programs opens up many learning opportunities for new students, especially those with good academic performance and difficult family circumstances; contributing to creating motivation for learning, improving the quality of training high-quality human resources for society.

- Talent Scholarship 50-100% tuition fee for the entire course (worth from 60.5 - 576 million VND, depending on tuition fee of each major)
- 100% Incentive Scholarship for the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year (worth from 11 - 32 million VND, depending on the tuition fee of each major)
