What does the Faculty of Information Technology of Dai Nam University do to train human resources to meet business needs?

With the policy of promoting cooperation in training high-quality Information Technology (IT) human resources, meeting the requirements of enterprises, students graduating from school have jobs in their major with high income; in recent years, Dai Nam University has continuously expanded cooperation with enterprises, innovated training programs in line with trends and "orders" of enterprises, and improved the qualifications of the University's teaching staff.
What do businesses need from IT human resources?
The 4.0 Industrial Revolution has a qualitative change when combining the real world, the virtual world and the biological world with outstanding technologies such as: Internet of Things (IoT), Internet of Services (IoS), Robotics, Big Data, Block Chain... creating a smart production environment. IT businesses must also transform themselves to suit that trend to survive and develop.
The requirements for recruiting IT personnel in enterprises are therefore more stringent. Accordingly, students who want to "stand firm" in the IT industry must meet the following criteria: good expertise, solid skills, responsible, good working attitude, able to start working immediately without spending much time on retraining; keeping up with the development trends of the times to self-train and improve their expertise and skills.

Building a new training program in the context of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution

With the new training program, every week students have an IT internship at the School's practice workshop. In addition, the School also calls on businesses to invest in modern practice workshops, such as:
- Artificial Intelligence Workshop;
- Block Chain Technology Workshop;
- Big Data Analytics Workshop.
Strengthening business engagement in the training process
Coordination with businesses in the training process is being promoted at the Faculty of Information Technology. Specifically, businesses have the opportunity to give feedback and make reasonable adjustments to the training content to meet their own requirements. On the other hand, receiving and guiding internships for students can be considered a process of actively preparing human resources for businesses.

Professional training for teaching staff
The leadership team of the Faculty of Information Technology focuses on professional training for lecturers. The weekly Xemines provide training on optimal programming teaching methods in class, discuss the effective use of Powerpoint presentation software, guide students in self-study, or Xemines provide training on scientific research results, training on AI, Block Chain, etc.

The Faculty of Information Technology is one of the earliest faculties established at Dai Nam University. Up to now, the faculty has enrolled 16 courses with 12 courses of students having graduated. According to annual statistics, the rate of IT graduates with jobs in their field of study is 100%. Many alumni of the faculty are holding important positions in businesses with high incomes of over 1,000 USD. |
