When can candidates change their admission wishes to university or college?

Each candidate can only adjust their admission registration once within the specified time.

Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training recommends that the Departments of Education and Training direct schools to make maximum use of computers with internet connection and have teachers guide and provide technical support for students to change their wishes most conveniently.

From July 19 to July 26, candidates are allowed to change their admission application online.

The Ministry of Education and Training also noted that each candidate can only adjust their registration once within the prescribed time and can only use one of two methods: online or by registration form.

Specifically:

Adjustment by online method: Candidates use the personal account and password that has been granted to make adjustments to their admission wishes.

Candidates should note that this method is only accepted when the number of wishes after adjustment is not greater than the number of wishes initially registered in the Registration Form.

Adjustment by Registration Form: Candidates can adjust the number of wishes to increase compared to the number of wishes initially registered in the Registration Form and must pay additional fees for the increased number of wishes according to regulations.

Candidates must fill in all information on the Registration Form and send it directly to the document receiving point so that the computer staff can update it into the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal.

Candidates should note that they must enter the correct school code, major/major group code, and admission combination code according to the school's regulations. Any incorrect wishes will not be accepted by the software system and will be rejected. The application receiving point must require candidates to check the results of their adjusted registration wishes within the prescribed time and request correction of errors, if any.

Update the candidate's Registration Form and be responsible for the updated information in the database of the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal; in case of incorrect information compared to the candidate's Registration Form, it must be adjusted when requested by the candidate and the candidate's request for correction of errors must be saved.

The Ministry of Education and Training also noted that from July 13, 2018 to July 15, 2018, candidates participating in the National High School Exam will be able to adjust their online application through the admissions portal https://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn which will be open for candidates to practice adjusting their online application.

The purpose of this "trial" registration, according to the leader of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Training, is to ensure that candidates are not surprised during the official adjustment of their wishes.

Accordingly, the results of candidates' adjusted registration wishes on the admission portal will be completely deleted after the trial run ends.

The system will be updated so that candidates can officially adjust their admission wishes from July 19, 2018.

The official time for adjusting wishes is regulated as follows: Adjustment by online method starts from July 19, 2018 to 5:00 p.m. on July 26, 2018.

Adjusting wishes by ballot starts from July 19, 2018 to 5:00 p.m. July 28, 2018.
