The Medical major is trained for 06 years (12 main semesters) with 200 credits (excluding Physical Education and National Defense and Security Education). The training program of the Medical major of Dai Nam University is built according to CDIO, based on the output standards to meet the capacity of general practitioners issued by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam in 2014.
The training program has been built with 155 professional knowledge credits; including 39 credits of supplementary knowledge of the industry, 116 credits of industry knowledge (the core subjects of the medical industry such as Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics account for 77 credits).
Dai Nam University is one of the few non-public universities licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training to train in Medicine.
In addition, the training program also equips students with general English knowledge level 3/6 and specialized English.
During the first two years of study, medical students will be equipped with basic scientific and medical knowledge to form a solid foundation for acquiring professional knowledge in the last four years of the training program.
