White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest: Humane and touching messages behind each photo

The White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest is one of the competitions in the 2022 Health Sports Festival of Dai Nam University. Just a few days after launching, the Organizing Committee received hundreds of entries from students majoring in Medicine, Pharmacy and Nursing. In addition to investing in image quality, the White Blouse Beauty Photo Contest made a strong impression with humane and touching messages about the students' profession.

Let's become "warriors" together

“Let's become warriors wearing white blouses with faith and hope to cure diseases and save people in the near future…” is the message that the Faculty of Medicine of Dai Nam University wants to convey in the competition.

“A life is very long, but also very short. We get to meet, get to know and become friends with each other, which is one of the most wonderful things that life brings. The meeting between us is probably not just a coincidence, because for this meeting to happen, we both have a common goal, a dream that needs to be realized, which is to become a doctor with the desire to cure and save people. We are going through our eighteen and twenty years - the most beautiful age of life, carrying on our shoulders the enthusiasm of youth. Six years of study is not a short time but not a long time on the road to fulfilling our dreams. We are walking together on that journey, although it is only a very short distance, but our connection, sympathy and sharing are very strong. I just hope that we will always be like that, holding hands to overcome difficulties; together achieving our dreams.

Studying medicine without passion not only affects you but also harms others.

“Putting on a white coat is truly the dream and aspiration of many people that not everyone can have. It is a special field that takes 6 years to study, almost the youth of a person's life. Medical students have always been known for their image of only studying and studying. Studying medicine without passion will be very difficult, not only affecting yourself but also others. Because every doctor holds in his or her hand the ability to change a person's destiny. We will try to study hard to not let down our teachers and parents. We hope that our teachers will always be by our side, be tolerant of us, and teach us wholeheartedly.”

For us, wearing a white blouse means shouldering heavy responsibilities.

“It cannot be compared to a normal outfit. A white blouse is not just a shirt that represents the image of a doctor. For me, as a student of Pharmacy, a health care major, wearing a white blouse also means having to shoulder a great responsibility. First of all, it is to be serious about the subject, to be dedicated and responsible in studying. Second, to practice medical ethics and morality to become a good doctor with the noble mission of saving people.”

“If all heroes wear capes and all angels wear white. Then doctors are both heroes and angels because mentioning them is mentioning the image of a white blouse that is both sacred, powerful, pure and somewhat poetic.

Medical professionals are often referred to as people who work hard day and night. They live, study and devote themselves to the goal of taking care of people's health. Perhaps because of this sacred and noble mission, we have unintentionally sharpened the image of doctors and forgotten that they also have other unique beauties. It can be the happiness and satisfaction of bringing health to people, or the quiet beauty hidden in the fatigue of hard but meaningful working days. The most quintessential beauty is often hidden in the appearance of the most ordinary things, but no matter what appearance, the pure white blouse is always a companion of doctors on their path to healing and saving people. The blouse is a symbol of knowledge, responsibility, empathy as well as dedication to the noble professional mission that every doctor carries throughout his or her career.

The color of the Blouse will always be a support for people at all times.

“Witnessing the country fighting the pandemic for more than 2 years, together with Dai Nam students overcoming the first difficult period when the pandemic hotspots began to appear, I and my friends are extremely excited to look forward to the day of returning to school. Now that I have become a part of Dai Nam, directly studying and understanding more about the health sector, about the image of the blouse that is always associated with the medical staff, I believe that I need to try to improve and practice a lot to contribute to society. And because the blouse will always be a support for people at all times.”

Our dream is to become good pharmacists, dedicating ourselves to society.

Each person has their own choice and path, the path that we choose is to become good pharmacists who can dedicate themselves to society... That is the dream that we are pursuing.”

Traveling 1,200 km, ignoring both light and heavy advice to pursue the dream of becoming a doctor

“More than 1,200 km is the distance I have overcome to pursue my dream, overcoming not only the geographical distance but also the victory over myself. I... from a small girl who was used to living in the arms of my parents, despite the gentle and heavy advice, carrying my love for the profession, I left the red land of Buon Ma Thuot, said goodbye to the vast coffee plantations to come to the bustling capital, where I will entrust my youth, my ambition to wear a white blouse and shoulder the responsibility of taking care of the health of the sick. Although the road ahead is still very long and full of difficulties, the greatest success I have achieved in the past 2 years is the trust of my family, the support of my teachers and the companionship of my friends. One day not far away... I will succeed..”

"The nurse will be the one to take care of patients from mild to severe illness, coma, ventilator patients, even those in critical condition and immobile. Comprehensive care for patients includes personal hygiene care, nutritional care to help patients recover as quickly as possible, and rehabilitation care for patients.
