"Young Talents of Vietnam Logistics 2024" Selection Round: Dai Nam University students' creativity makes a strong impression on businesses

The selection round of the "Vietnam Young Logistics Talent 2024" contest is an opportunity for students of Dai Nam University (DNU) to demonstrate their talents and abilities through practical projects, and at the same time introduce innovative solutions in the Logistics industry. This intellectual playground not only affirms the school's commitment to "training linked to practice" but also promotes connections between students, lecturers and businesses, contributing to improving the quality of training and social awareness of the Logistics industry.
The competition was organized by the Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, attracting the participation of many students, businesses and a team of prestigious judges.
The jury is made up of leading experts in the industry.
The jury of the school selection round consists of leading experts in the field of Logistics and supply chain management:
- Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy - General Secretary of Vietnam Logistics Human Resources Development Association (Valoma)
- Ms. Le Thanh Loan – Founder and Director of Gatelink Vietnam Co., Ltd.
- Mr. Nguyen The Hung - Sales Director, Atalink Technology Joint Stock Company
- Ms. To Kim Oanh - Head of Sales Department, KTO Logistics Joint Stock Company
- Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc – Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Faculty, Dai Nam University
Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy was particularly impressed with the expertise, skills, confidence, presentation ability and logical reasoning of DNU students.
Fierce competition and creative projects
The final round witnessed a dramatic competition between 04 teams with projects revolving around the topics of Green Logistics, Digital Logistics... - new trends in the Logistics industry.
LogNB team presented the project "Green Logistics Solution for Ship 60 Enterprise", proposing the use of environmentally friendly materials to minimize the impact on the ecosystem.
The Crew team proposed a solution to preserve Bac Giang lychees during transportation to major supermarkets in Hanoi, to ensure the freshness of the product.
LoTab team focuses on improving delivery performance and customer experience through the project "Solutions to improve service quality of Giao Hang Tiet Kiem Joint Stock Company".
ACF Logistics team presented the project "Application of ERTH model in collecting and recycling electronic waste", aiming to reduce environmental pollution and protect the ecosystem.
The competition took place with heated debates between the teams.
The final top 2 fiercely debated the topic: "Automation in Logistics will eliminate jobs for unskilled workers in the industry".
Thanks to the practical project, impressive presentation skills and sharp arguments, the ACF Logistics team won the Championship and became the representative of Dai Nam University to participate in the National Semi-finals of the "Young Logistics Talents of Vietnam 2024" contest.
Businesses appreciate the creativity and independent thinking of DNU students
Ms. Trinh Thi Thanh Thuy expressed her surprise at the independent thinking, confidence and creativity of DNU students, especially when they are only in their second year. She hopes that the students will continue to promote teamwork and progress to go further in the competition as well as in their future careers.
Dr. Le Thi My Ngoc said: The Faculty of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of Dai Nam University will continue to invest all resources so that students can develop comprehensively in terms of expertise, skills and practical capacity.
In the coming time, the Faculty will organize more academic competitions, career guidance programs and practical experiences at businesses to ensure that 100% of students have jobs with attractive incomes after graduation.
