In order to help students have the opportunity to intern, experience and work in developed countries in tourism and travel, recently, Dai Nam University had a successful working session with Joa Career Joint Stock Company, sharing about the Internship Japan cooperation program for students of the Faculty of Tourism.

Accordingly, with the Summer Internship in Japan program, students of the Faculty of Tourism - Dai Nam University will go to Japan to intern, experience and work.

In order to help students have a clearer orientation, understand the domestic and foreign labor market, and have the opportunity to find good jobs after graduation, the Faculty of Tourism - Dai Nam University has made strong and creative changes in training activities. In addition to teaching professional knowledge, soft skills and foreign languages, the Faculty of Tourism especially focuses on internships and experiences for students right from the first year. And to give students the opportunity to intern, experience and work in professional and modern environments, the Faculty has promoted international cooperation, training students directly at businesses.

Mr. Tran Sy Nguyen - Head of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University shared: " One of the 5 core values in training of the Faculty of Tourism in particular and Dai Nam University in general is: "Changing the teaching method to approach students from reality" aiming at the goal that students after graduation are not only good at professional knowledge but also proficient in working skills, communication skills, and able to meet all recruitment needs of businesses".

With the training motto of “ taking students as the center ”, Dai Nam University is the only university in the North to open 3-star and 5-star hotels for students of Tourism to practice and work in. “ The Faculty always creates conditions for students to have the opportunity to rub against reality, linking theory with reality in businesses. Each internship program aims to train students in thinking ability, applying learned knowledge and updating new knowledge and skills for work… ”, said Mr. Tran Sy Nguyen.

In addition, students of the Faculty of Tourism, Dai Nam University have the opportunity to improve their professional working style through the learning process, practice the ability to work independently, teamwork spirit, problem solving skills and effective communication skills at work.

Recently, at Sahul Hotel (684 Minh Khai - Hanoi), students of the Faculty of Tourism had the opportunity to exchange and learn about the working environment in Japan with two human resource experts from JOA Career, a member of JOA HOLDING CO.LTD.
