Schools and businesses “join hands”: Graduates get good jobs, businesses recruit quality personnel

In order to achieve the goal of 100% of graduates having jobs and good income, the Faculty of E-commerce and Digital Economy (E-commerce & Digital Economy) of Dai Nam University especially focuses on promoting cooperation in training businesses to create a good environment for practice, internship and employment for students. Recently, at the 3rd Anniversary Ceremony, the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Economy of Dai Nam University continued to sign cooperation agreements with businesses operating in the field of e-commerce and launched the Club.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Le Dac Son - Chairman of the School Council; Board of Directors; leaders of Faculties, Departments, Boards, Institutes, Centers; representatives of partner enterprises and all staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Technology.

Hot industry becomes hotter when training in the right direction

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Dac Son acknowledged the efforts and achievements of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology in training and scientific research, especially the imbuing of the school's ideology, philosophy, goals, mission and vision in training activities and business cooperation.

“E-commerce, Digital Economy… are hot, trendy majors. The learning needs of students are very large. Building the Faculty of E-commerce & Digital Economy into a large faculty of the School is not enough, but must become a prestigious, quality training unit of the whole country. To do that, the Faculty needs to continue to promote practical activities for students, so that all students can work in enterprises for 6 months, then return to school to complete the study program. In particular, teachers must closely follow the process of students working at enterprises, go to enterprises with them. From there, teachers themselves can access a lot of new knowledge useful for teaching activities" , Mr. Le Dac Son directed.

Sharing about the development orientation of the Faculty of E-commerce and Architecture, Mr. Truong Duc Thao - Head of the Faculty said that he will continue to promote close cooperation with businesses to provide practical training, internships and jobs for students; develop to become a leading training unit in the field of E-commerce, Architecture... in Vietnam.

Mr. Truong Duc Thao summarized 3 years of operation of the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology and presented the Faculty's development strategy in the future.

“Through cooperation activities with businesses, the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology has closely followed the school's training policy associated with practical experience, gradually realizing the goal of 100% of graduates having good jobs and becoming good citizens,” said Mr. Thao.

In particular, in the 2024-2025 school year, the Faculty is assigned by the School to manage and train 04 of the hottest majors today, including: Bachelor of E-commerce; Bachelor of Digital Economics; Bachelor of Economics (oriented towards Investment Economics, Monetary Economics); and Bachelor of Business Data Analysis, aiming at postgraduate training in E-commerce in the future.

Strengthening business cooperation so that students can have jobs immediately after graduation

At the ceremony, Dai Nam University continued to sign a memorandum of cooperation with highly specialized enterprises in the field of e-commerce and digital economy, including: Dong Tai Global Logistics and Services Co., Ltd., ECOM Group Joint Stock Company, Nhan Hoa Software Co., Ltd.

Dai Nam University has signed a memorandum of cooperation with businesses.

With the signed cooperation agreement, businesses will accompany the Faculty of E-commerce and Information Technology of Dai Nam University in building training programs, improving skills for students, sharing resources, internships and recruitment...

The signing ceremony has further expanded the opportunities for students to practice, intern and work at businesses right from when they are still in school and after graduation. Businesses can recruit quality personnel who can work immediately without spending too much time on retraining.

Also at the ceremony, EDFD CLUB – E-commerce and Digital Economy Club of Dai Nam University was officially launched. This is a playground for students who are passionate about e-commerce and digital economy, creating opportunities for students to connect with businesses, building a practical learning environment. The activities of the Club mainly focus on specialized issues and career counseling for students. In the future, the Club will also be the connecting link between the University – Faculty – Students – Alumni – Employers.
