On November 22, Dai Nam University will organize an international conference with the theme “Improving the Fintech development ecosystem in Vietnam”. The international scientific conference is organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking of Dai Nam University and the Department of Science Management in collaboration with Asia University, Taiwan. The conference will discuss issues in the field of financial technology and aim at three basic goals:

Firstly, to create a forum for scientists, managers, researchers and scholars to exchange knowledge and share experiences on conditions to support and promote the development of Fintech in Vietnam.

Second, create opportunities for Fintech companies, commercial banks and businesses that are applying and using Fintech products to raise difficulties and obstacles in the operation process; from there, propose recommendations to contribute to creating a more favorable ecosystem for Fintech development in Vietnam in the coming time.

Third, enhancing scientific research capacity and developing training programs in the field of Fintech contributes to consolidating and enhancing the position of Dai Nam University in the face of the opportunities and challenges of the current digital age.

The Fintech International Scientific Conference will contribute to the completion of the fintech development ecosystem in Vietnam, keeping up with the trends and developments of countries in the region and the world.

The urgency of the conference and the professionalism and methodical organization of Dai Nam University attracted more than 100 domestic and international scientists to attend. Specifically, the conference received more than 100 scientific articles from authors who are lecturers, researchers from universities and research institutes at home and abroad, managers and Fintech experts.

The articles and research proposals all focus on exploiting the main issues of the conference's theme, such as perfecting the legal corridor, promoting the ability to cooperate between commercial banks and businesses with fintech technology companies, and including requirements on risk management as well as training to meet the demand for quantity and quality of fintech human resources in the country.

Mr. Nguyen Tu Anh - Director of the General Department, Central Economic Committee will participate in the discussion in session 2 of the Workshop revolving around the topic of institutions and policies for the Fintech industry in Vietnam.
