Dai Nam University students with life values

In order for a student to graduate and become a good citizen, with a good life, in addition to specialized knowledge that is thoroughly and deeply trained, closely linked to practical experience, students need to build and choose for themselves a philosophy of life, life values, have a strong will, and know how to share responsibility with the community. Therefore, Life Values is one of the first lessons that new DNU students are exposed to in the Basic Soft Skills training program.
The purpose of life is to live with purpose, that is, students need to answer the question, what are we living for? Is it really a life or are we just existing? To be able to answer that question, each student needs to determine for themselves a philosophy of life, life values to pursue throughout life. It is also a vision, overall orientation or attitude towards life. In other words, we are the painters who paint the picture of our own lives. Life values are principles, norms, standards, ideal beliefs that guide human actions. Each person can choose for themselves different life values depending on their own principles, norms, depending on their own orientation, vision, and perspective on life.
There are many different perspectives and ways to choose life values. Below are 12 basic life values recognized by UNESCO.

Through soft skills teaching activities, Dai Nam University provides students with experiences, thereby helping them understand themselves and strive to pursue life values.
Life values are the best measure for Dai Nam youth about whether their daily behavior and attitude are correct or not. Setting good life values is the best way to orient the future and determine their goals. On the other hand, setting standards to help young people experience and explore a better life is the basic, core, refined moral value of a person. Each of us needs to have our own philosophy and values to orient our future direction.
